I’ve just had the pleasure of discovering The Celestine Prophecy. This is an adventure story regarding 9 insights into life that humanity is supposed to discover as we head towards a completely spiritual culture on Earth.

I’m up to reading about the third key insight. This is where people become aware that they can see the energy surrounding and passing through themselves, people around them, plants and animals. There are many different layers to our energy and some focus on auras and some on other layers. The insight is that we will be able to see all layers eventually.
Many spiritual people are already aware that we are all energy and we project and absorb energy. What got me excited was the information, for those of us who can’t yet, of how to see this energy. Apparently it is easy if you know how.
In summary
* Be in a place of nature that is vibrant and alive – somewhere that has not been affected by humanity and feels like it energises you.
* Choose a place either at sunrise or sunset where you can see the blue sky clearly. You may lie on your back or just find a place high up where the sky is visible in front of you.
* Hold your hands in front of you and touch your finger tips together. Now bring them apart a little and look at the space between your fingers. Your eyes must be out of focus slightly for this to work. Play with your focus until you can see it.
* You should see an energy field around your fingers and, if you’re really lucky, you should see wisps of energy travelling back and forth between your fingers.
For many it takes a bit of work to see and some may never see it, but for some, like myself, I saw it within a minute of trying. It probably helped that I had had a vegetarian diet today too. According to The Celestine Prophecy your physical energy will increase when you absorb more things that have living energy in them, such as plants, and drop when you absorb more things without energy, such as cooked meat.
