Time Travel and Past Lives

[showmyads]
Past life regression allows us to visit either past lives that we’ve had or past lives that have been overlaid onto our spiritual being to give us information that will enable us to live out this life.

Past lives also allow us to see some progression, from many lives in the past to this one and how the lives in the past affect our life in the present.

According to many past life regressionists, a lot of us have been around for millions of years and have experienced all sorts of past lives from bugs to dolphins, rocks to even lives on other planets and in different dimensions.

The interesting thing that should be considered here is that, if time is just an illusion and everything around us has happened, is happening and is going to happen all at the same time (as time doesn’t exist) would there be a way to travel back to those past lives consciously and permanently?

Apparently the only reason you can read this post is because your focus is on the here and now in this time in this life time. In fact, in a future life you could come back to this post in a hypnotherapy session and read it in your present life. (I’m sure there are better things in your past lives you could be doing though!) What if, instead of focusing on the here and now, instead of taking a hypnotherapy trip back in time, we had the power to actually shift our focus from the here and now to another point in space/time? Afterall, if time does not exist and time is only an illusion, if everything infinite just ‘is’ at the same microsecond all across the universe, then surely, given enough conscious power, we could simply shift our focus permanently to a better life in the past or the future?

So, our current life would still continue and an aspect of ourselves will still have, live and die in that lifetime, but we could perhaps skip it. Maybe jump to the next life for awhile or back to the previous one. Or, if it is necessary to have focus in this life at one point to complete it, perhaps we could just take a break from it? Especially if our current life is fairly mundane and boring.

Wouldn’t that be cool? In the second you go and fetch another glass of water from the water cooler you jump back and spend 20 years in a life in the past or future.

Hmm. I would definitely be interested in checking out life during the building of the pyramids or even what life was like in Atlantis, between washing dishes.
