I am continuing my channeling practice and amongst the general information I received today, I received this interesting message. It is especially relevant to me as I’m struggling to throw stuff away. I’ve got the mindset that everything needs to be kept – just in case – so moving to a reality where nothing needs to be kept is a huge challenge, though many buddhist monks have been reflecting this idea to everyone for centuries.

Q: What can we expect in 2012?
A: 2012 can be anything you want it to be. You create your reality. There are already Earths that have long since moved into 4th density and already Earths long since destroyed. There is an infinite number of Earths. You create your own Earth and you choose which Earth to be on.
No matter what you read, hear or see, that is that person’s reality, not yours. If you wish 2012 to be the year where everyone on the planet suddenly gets spiritual gifts and becomes telempathic, and you believe in your heart that you want this to happen, then that will be the reality you shift to. 2012 is the marker for you to make that shift.
You may have recordings and books that contain information about 2012 that were written when you were at that particular vibrational level. They are no longer relevant to you. The records exist in your reality because you keep recreating them. If you have moved on from that, when you recreate a book or a message and go over it again, you are moving yourself back to the vibrational level you were in when you first attracted that message into your life.
It is not necessary for you to keep anything that was attracted to you when you were at that vibrational level.
If you want 2012 to be the year the entire planet moves to what you consider to be 4th density, you can shift to that reality this year. No waiting needed.

There was more but it was basically repeating for emphasis and clarity so I’ve just given the edited version. The message I get from this is that not just some things but absolutely everything we own is holding us back. If we could live in the moment and not keep anything, forget the past and focus on loving ourselves and loving others, we would move to an enlightened Earth much faster. Remember that many channels have spoken of the idea that reality as we perceive it doesn’t actually exist but that we create everything we see every time we look in a certain direction. Imagine yourself as a god that can create billions of universes a second but that you wanted to experience this kind of life so you’ve also created the illusion that you’re not doing it and the world already exists. If you take that on board, then all the stuff you keep recreating second by second is taking your overall consciousness away from focusing on increasing your vibrational level and keeping you stuck in recreating things relating to your old vibrational levels.
Looks like I’m going to have to hire one of those garbage collection skips. 40 years of notes, books, junk, clothes, pictures and other references to remove from my reality!
