Playing with Time

I’ve been having some fun recently, playing around with time.

Now, this only happens when I’m ‘in the zone’ so to speak. Absolutely knowing, without a doubt, that I will do it, and then doing it without expectation.

Many say you don’t need to understand how this works, you just do it. Yes, that’s true for those who don’t need to know! For those who do, here is the explanation.

We are moving through billions of parallel worlds every second. Billions of completely static entire universes. There are an infinite number of universes so going through a billion a second is pretty small! In any case, all these static universes are just that. Unmoving, unwavering, statuesque periods.

As we pass through them we get the illusion of time. We’re basically jumping from our version of our body at point a to our version of our body to point b to our version of our body at point c and each time we shift, our body moves imperceptibly. This gives the illusion of time.

There have been stories of people seeing time around them simply stop. Others have seen time speed up. Still others perceive localised time as slowing. We can control the progression through the parallel universes. We can also control the type of parallel universes we go to.

If we’re ‘in the moment’ and enjoying completely what we’re doing, like a musician lost in the music or a blog writer lost in the words he or she is creating, we pass through the co-created parallel universes at a higher speed and we’re less likely to be influenced by others’ perceptions so that when we come out of the zone we’re still very much the same as when we went in. In other words, we didn’t age during that period.

People who are ‘in the zone’ almost 24/7 barely age at all from outside perception, but because you wouldn’t notice it unless you’d been around them for decades, no one sees this happening. But if you go and look for it you’ll find those that got to do what they loved for years barely aged decade to decade.

So, now you’ve got an idea of how you can play a bit with time, when you know that there really is no such thing as time. It’s all an illusion. There is only now.

Yesterday, my son was sitting on the lounge about to open a bag of lollies he’d grabbed from the cupboard. In the zone, and knowing that he would not see me, I went over, took the lollies out of his hand and replaced them with some banana bread. He did not see me and he wasn’t moving at all during this moment. My wife was nearby and had my daughter in a baby chair. It was time to take her out so in the same moment I took her out and stood her on the floor. Seconds later my son said, “Hey, who changed my lollies for banana bread. How did you do that? I didn’t see you do that” And my wife said. “Oh no. How did she get out of the chair?”

I just said, “Sorry, just playing a bit with time.”

My wife replied, “please don’t do that. It freaks us out!”

My baby girl just gurgled happily thinking the whole thing was funny!

It proved a point to me, even though it wasn’t something I could do on demand. Like most ‘special’ skills it only works in true synchronistic reality and can’t be planned. As soon as you start planning it, or trying to prove it, it won’t work. The only reason I did it then was that I suddenly had the feeling at that time that I could. I haven’t felt like that before and I haven’t since. Looking forward to that feeling becoming more common though, not just for me but for everyone!
