I recently had an interesting discussion with some spiritual friends of mine. You can tell that they’re not the average joe bloggs when discussions lead to where they went astral travelling the night before.
In any case, having recently joined this group, I was surprised when a particular situation happened. Having known many girls and guys, I knew that guys should never talk about having broken up with a girl in front of other girls. Basically the girls will always side with the girl they haven’t met and make the assumption that the guy treated her badly by leaving her. These kind of leaps to conclusions have been common in many of my female friends in the past 20 years so I was expecting the same to happen in this group.
Surprisingly, the girls there didn’t do that. In fact they asked further questions about the situation with the guy and he gave them an honest answer. The discussion then lead to karma in relation to the relationship and the guy believed that his ex was carrying around a lot of bad karma.
Now, by this stage, I would have expected at least one member of the group to jump in and ask a question that would have led to a defensive answer. Instead, a girl jumped in and said “so what was your reason for being in her life?” or something like that. The question was asking, in the history of the planet, what reason was his soul in her life at that particular point in space/time. He answered “probably to annoy her!” Everyone laughed!
It is refreshing to see this behaviour in people and to find that, when you reach a certain age, awareness and spirituality level, you recognise that a relationship is the interaction of two highersouls with possible karmic reasons for running into each other, rather than just assuming that all men are bastards. It shows a certain amount of evolution and wisdom has been obtained.
I’m less likely to feel concerned by people who broach these subjects in this group and look forward chatting with them again soon.
